The original Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland , written by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (aka Lewis Carroll) is full of these fantastic illustrations by Sir John Tenniel from 1865. Tenniel’s illustrations of the whimsical, hallucinatory story of Alice continue to inspire artists and cartoonists to this day. Im sure in the upcoming major motion picture of Alice in Wonderland, we will see lots of Tenniel’s and Carrol’s inspiration on the big screen.
